The Block Arcade
- 280 Collins Street

This is Melbourne’s major shopping arcade which runs between Collins
Street and Elizabeth Street. This grand arcade features intricate
mosaic floors and vast ceiling murals. The Block is renowned for
arcades modelled on those of London, Paris and Milan.
The Arts Centre
Sunday Market - Corner St Kilda and Southgate Roads, Southbank.

This under cover craft market showcases over 150 stalls of gifted
artisans marketing hand made wares from quaint shops and
studios. Only Victoria's finest crafts are on display and all
stallholder's work must pass a quality examination.
Crown
Casino Complex - 8 Whiteham Street

One of the largest gaming facilities in Southern Hemisphere, the
venue has 350 gaming tables and 2,500 slot machines. This Las
Vegas-style gambling palace includes restaurants, nightclubs
and floorshows, two hotel towers, trendy boutiques and a cinema
complex. It operates 24 hours a day every day of the year
except Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day when it opens at
noon.
Chinatown -
Little Bourke St, Swanston St & Spring St

Regular visitors to Melbourne will know the Chinese precinct
centered around Little Bourke Street. Chinatown is a bustling
thoroughfare of restaurants, cafes, Asian grocery stores, Chinese
medicinal remedies, ethnic music, a fantastic choice of restaurants,
gold and jewellery, exotic gifts, Chinese cinema, events and
festivals... and lots more.
Federation Square - Corner Swanston and Flinders Streets

This central space fills an entire city block and is a landmark that
combines gardens, innovative engineering and architecture. A
creative mix of attractions embody fine art, hospitality, bold
design and events. The square is close to the National Gallery of
Victoria, the Melbourne Visitor Centre and numerous cafes and
restaurants.
Royal Arcade - 355 Bourke Street

This is the city's oldest shopping arcade, dating back to 1869.
Despite recent modernization, the arcade still retains the graceful
elegance of the original. The statues of Gog and Magog faithfully
toll the hour on Gaunt's Clock. A wrought-iron portico from the same
period as the original arcade is one of the few remaining examples
of the verandas that once graced the city centre.
Bourke Street
Mall - Between Swanston Street and Elizabeth Street

This is the address for most of Melbourne’s main department stores
which are located here. This mall is a favoured location for street
performers and buskers who perform throughout the mall area.
Southgate Leisure Precinct - Maffra Street and City Road

Located on the bank of the Yarra River adjacent the Victorian Arts
Centre, this development rejuvenated a neglected part of the city.
The site is now a stylish, cosmopolitan reflection of Australia's
cultural diversity. Visitors will find over 40 unique shops, a food
court, restaurants, bars and cafés. The centre has entertainment
programs and is a favoured spot for scenic walks along the river.
Docklands - west of the Melbourne CBD

Melbourne’s water based playground is
located west of the CBD on Victoria Harbour
and occupies 3 km of Yarra River frontage. Docklands is being
developed in stages over a 10 - 15 year period, and is a modern
combination of residential, retail and leisure activities. It has a
spectacular harbour and views, grand promenades, new marinas
and parkland plus a great selection of award winning restaurants,
modern bars and cafes.
